Advanced Wound Care
The UK is a global leader in the wound care industry, with world-class research and development institutions and healthcare companies producing new innovations to heal wounds, prevent infection and provide pain relief. With an ageing population, chronic wounds pose an ever increasing challenge for the NHS, and consequent high-levels of growth in the advanced wound care market.
The Medical Innovation Forum provides a focus on the developments in the wound care sector, including devices, therapies, wound diagnostic technologies, regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. By bringing together interested parties to review opportunities for collaboration and research, the aim is to help increase the speed in which innovations can successfully be brought to market.
