This discussion group will explore how to commission, design and deliver training and development so that it meets the shared clinical, business and academic needs of those involved in medical innovation.
There is a need to draw upon the expertise from all three sectors to design and deliver high quality, relevant courses that are fit for purpose and most importantly cross any boundaries between the three sectors.
The challenge is to engage the three sectors to work together to identify shared priority needs to influence the commissioning agenda.
The discussion will seek:
• to explore the factors
that help and hinder a shared approach to training and development
• to identify priority areas on which to focus training and development
• to establish potential sources of funding and a route forward
