The Electronics Knowledge Transfer Network
The Electronics Knowledge Transfer Network aims to provide the UK electronics sector with access to a community, tools, services, knowledge and information on technologies and best practice, designed to help companies develop their core strengths, expand their capabilities, improve productivity and innovation.
We are creating a network of UK companies and universities across the full electronics value chain, from research through product design, development, and manufacturing to sales to end users.
Information is delivered via events - both local and national - through Special Interest Groups and by articles and documents on our web site. To ensure that we can assist all UK companies we work closely with the RDAs and the Trade Associations as well as other KTNs.
We have built a fully indexed and searchable Capability Directory. This details the companies in the electronics sector, with their information such as the technologies they use, specific market they address, contacts and their location.
Using this resource companies can find new opportunities to network or gain business. The directory is also used by government to promote companies both within and from outside the UK and will become the first place for a company seeking a supplier or partner.
We are an initiative of the UK Technology Strategy Board acting in the public good as a not for profit company, limited by guarantee.
