Healthcare Acquired Infections
Reducing healthcare acquired infections (HCAIs) is one of the top priorities for the NHS. Developments in medical devices and new types of packaging, coatings and textiles can make a major contribution in tackling infections such as MRSA and C. difficile.
The Medical Innovation Forum provides a focus on new developments to meet hygiene standards and utilise cleanroom technologies to provide the right conditions for manufacturing and processing. Bringing together interested parties to review opportunities for collaboration and research will help increase the speed in which innovations can successfully be brought to market.
