iQur is a spin-out biotechnology company specialising in the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of liver disease. We provide a rapid turnaround, comprehensive diagnostic testing service (quantification, qualitation and genotyping) for hepatitis, HIV and other diseases affecting the liver. Our menu also includes a patient-friendly repeatable test to measure the extent of liver fibrosis in a number of chronic liver diseases using serum markers (the ELF Test). This was developed by iQur in collaboration with the University of Southampton and Siemens. Our diagnostic laboratory is CPA registered and uses appropriate CE or IVD approved methods. Turnaround time on our full range of tests is typically within 5 working days. Diagnostic testing is available using blood samples, oral fluid samples, blood spots and small volume whole blood. Our therapeutic division has active drug discovery programmes in immunotherapeutics, antiviral therapies and antifibrosis research. iQur has built collaborative alliances with pathology service providers operating nationally and throughout Europe and the Middle East.
