SKF Condition Monitoring Centre (Livingston) Ltd is the centre of excellence for 'handheld instrumentation' within the Reliability Systems section of SKF Service Division. SKF CMC Livingston designs, manufactures and supports the sophisticated handheld electronic instrumentation that forms the basis of portable SKF Condition Monitoring vibration products and solutions available worldwide through SKF Reliability Systems.

SKF CMC Livingston also extends its knowledge, engineering capability and technology to customers who wish to outsource the development of complex instruments for a diversity of markets and applications. This gives customers access to highly specialised engineering skills, experience and infrastructure. Uniquely, SKF CMC Livingston also gives access to core elements (technology building blocks) of their own products, which include both electronic and mechanical elements. These building blocks can be utilized to quickly create complex working prototypes, reducing costs, risks and time to market.

SKF CMC Livingston has experience of working to medical standards, such as 60601 for Product Certification, and both ISO13485 and CFR820 guidelines for Quality Systems.
